About Your Personal Chef
Chef Philip M. Baer grew up with a love of find food. His mother was a gourmet cook and allowed him to assist her in making dinners for the family. At the age of 27, he decided to make it his career. Very soon, he was working for a Los Angeles family as their personal chef in Malibu Colony, serving meals five to six times a week.
In 2001, he began formal education in a Culinary Program with the Los Angeles Trade/Technical College, the oldest running culinary program in the United States where Philip graduated second in his class, on the Dean’s List and President’s Roll.
